Sorry for the dead quiet. As you can see, TLH has been dormant for the last half of 2010. While we're not kicking into extreme activity, we're ready to get things moving again in 2011. We both have had to deal with a number of issues we're not going to complain about here, but these issues certainly distracted us from doing what we would have liked to do with TLH. We're hoping 2011 will be much more productive, with a new full-length album to come at some point.
What's going on. Things have been quiet in TLH's camp for a few months now. The proposed deal to get A Funeral for Things Undying released in the States is now dead, thanks to the usual unreliable people involved in the music industry. We are planning on starting work on a new album soon. There's a tentative deal to get the album released, but of course it's hard to count on those things until they happen. That's about it for now.
An update. A couple of things to report. First, we are in discussions with a label to get a proper release of our album A Funeral for Things Undying in the United States. Things are still fluid at the moment, so we can't lay out any details. The second piece of news is that we're beginning work on a new album that we hope to complete in 2010. Expect new material to be suitably bleak and dark, but with more of an industrial slant.

Music for the new album, A Funeral for Things Undying, is about 90% complete. All of the songs are written out and recorded, outside of vocals and guitars. Later this year, we hope to enter the studio to record these elements and master the album. As previously mentioned, the new material is much more ambient, though still suitably creepy, dark, and depressing. So far, the album's looking to be around 35 minutes long. The track-list is as follows:
1. Cold Skin and a Sense of Loss
Titles and song order may still change, but everything is pretty set. We're very excited about how well the new stuff is turning out, and it's definitely more akin to what we had in mind when we initially created The Liquescent Horror. We'll be sure to keep you all posted whenever there's something new to report.
